Mrs Stephenson
The happiest
day of our lives. That's what Deborah and her new father-in-law agreed
it was as February 22nd drew to a close.
Wes and Deborah were married in Greatford, Lincolnshire and the reception
followed at The George in Stamford.
After a misty start the sun broke through just as the happy couple left
the church. The bride's uncle, Stephen, was the photographer. He captured
the happy day in the hazy sunshine outside the church alongside Greatford
Hall.
It was great to meet family and friends old and new. The wedding supper
was a sit down meal in the oak panelled dining room of the ancient coaching
inn that featured in the TV drama Middlemarch. For the evening event we
moved to a marquee where the crowd grew bigger. Everyone was entertained
by Soul Fingers-a band from York.
The following morning close family and friends met up again at the George
where Joan was surprised with a 50th birthday treat from Wes and Deborah.
They would be on their honeymoon for the big day only 5 days later so
they presented Joan with a cake and presents before they set off for Dubai,
Sri Lanka and The Maldives.
