We found an idyllic little cottage in the village of La Bohalle near Angers. The weather was hot, food good and wine flowed freely. We explored the area by bike and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We may even go back again next year. Cycling in Britain Barrie completed the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride in July. Cycling 70 miles between Wetherby and Filey he raised about £150 for charity. If you were one of the sponsors - thank you. If you still haven't paid your sponsorship money you know where to send it! He purchased a new bike last January after cancelling his gym membership. The view from the saddle of a real bike is so much more interesting than the four walls of the gym! We both go out for cycle rides around York too when the weather is good and Joan now cycles to school on most days.
