The most exciting day of the year. Wesley and Deborah's wedding on February 22nd 2003. Two families are brought together. The Stephensons from York and the Kingsmills of Greatford. Barrie and Joan had travelled from the north to be in the area to help wherever possible with the last minute wedding plans. They rented a cottage in a neighbouring village to be close by for Wesley and his brother Matthew. John and Janet's home in Greatford was the centre of activity for the bride - family, friends, bridesmaids, and page boy descended on the village in the days and hours before the ceremony. It was a busy time with last minute shopping, manicures, hairdressing, place settings to complete as well as moving hosts of things the six miles to The George in Stamford for the reception.
